Project Description

“ In looking at the live blood analysis, it was interesting what you can see from just one drop of blood. I had a lot of stuff going in my blood cells. A lot that actually supported my anemia diagnosis. It was clear that, through the different shapes and sizes of my blood cells, a lot did speak to what had happened. Not all of my blood cells were round, with different shapes and perforations, nor were all colours the same. I could see parasitic activity. That really showed a lot of imbalances and those long-term effects of depletion.”

Almost No White Blood Cells in entire sample Blood at x10 magnification, 1 WBC (norm 10-15) | Moderate to Normal Amount of WBCs Blood at x10 magnification, 10 WBC |
Red Blood Cells Broken Sickle Cell | RBCs more uniform in shape and size No more broken cells or sickle cells |
Schistocytes (highly deformed cells) | Helmet Cells, Bottle-Shaped Cells (slightly deformed cells), but no Schistocytes |
Huge Crystal of Undigested Protein | No more protoplasts, can see 2 WBC |

Panic attacks – when I was driving all of a sudden, I would start feeling fuzzy and dizzy, short of breath and would go into numbness from the elbows down my fingertips, and everything was buzzing. Then it would get to my chest and sides of my face, and I would start hyperventilating. This happened 2 times… I went back to my naturopathic doctor to get some tests, and I realized that my hematology was really bad. My platelet count went up. My hemoglobin level was 1.2 (compared to 3.5 six months ago), which is normal in the range of 10.6-33. My ferritin level was 8, which is supposed to be between 15 and 247. | I realized here that I tended to have this set in my ways diet. I was more focused on cleansing. I was keeping it really light, eating lots of fruit. My biggest meal was maybe at my suppertime meal, which was meat and vegetables. And other than that, it was just eating fruit, if anything during the day. Sort of intermittent fasting, hydrating, mostly just focusing on drinking my Kengen lemon water and thought if I lighten the load, that that should be good. And what I learned was that my cleansing type of a diet was not in fact helping my anemia. It wasn't helping build my blood cells. It wasn't giving me what I needed, so I was really depleting myself. And I realized that I needed to completely change my priorities. Being fed all this amazing food, the custom protocols were really helping to slowly renourish, rebuild my blood and mineralize it. |
Pin and needles/ numbness in legs - I definitely have some circulatory issues, and they tend to show up mostly in my feet and legs for many years. I'll get the pins and needles or numbness in the bottom of my left foot predominantly, and sometimes they can move up my leg down into the back of my thigh. It's a bit unnerving and tends to be a little worse when I lie down. Sometimes I go for a long walk and feel it, too. | I did not have that numbness all week, except the bottom of the feet when I was doing the hot cold therapy with the sauna. By the time I dried myself off and left and got back up to my room, that was gone. |
Cold Fingertips: I do have Reynold’s where I do have the circulatory issues in the fingertips. Sometimes if it gets a little bit cold, they'll go numb and white. Before, I had a hot and cold treatment in a steam sauna, and then went and did the cold plunge and it took an hour to get that circulation back into my fingers. | I didn't experience that here. One interesting thing happened to me here with Somatic Therapy. I was laying on the floor (on a mat) and started to get really cold. My feet were really cold. I was shivering up my back and in my shoulders. She covered me up with blankets. When she had put her hands on me, I had an emotional release. I noticed that my hands weren’t cold anymore and my feet weren’t cold anymore. The circulation actually returned to my extremities, and that gave me hope that the body could recover. And I realized that not everything is physical and may have an emotional component to it. |
Sleep. I am usually a good sleeper, but my sleep is disrupted. | found that they, everything between the stretching, the meditation, the yoga. The treatments, the sauna, everything, just relaxed my nervous system to the point that I could find myself easily drifting off into a meditative state. I was comfortable and slept with one disruption per night, just getting up once in the night to use the washroom. |
Experience Highlights:
- Live Blood Analysis – it backed up the anemia diagnosis, the cells were different shapes and had different perforations. It revealed significant imbalances and long-term effects of depletion.
- Steam Therapy Sessions – I found the steam and cold after pretty intense, but I was actually looking forward to it. I just love how my skin feels, more hydrated. I feel invigorated, but super relaxed at the same time. It helps a person have a deeper level of sleep.
- Guided walks – I love going for walks around here, because there’s lots of trees and of course there’s the salty ocean air. I love the smell of the trees. I love being surrounded by nature and the water.
- Treatments – they calm your nervous system and are so relaxing. You feel so cared for, the practitioners have so much insight, and I love their intuition. And they genuinely care from the heart.
- Connecting with others in the group– I find it very therapeutic. You connect with everybody a little bit differently, and everybody gives you something.
