Who Am I?
Paula is passionate about human beings: how their bodies function, and the power of their minds. Her dream is to help people reach their full physical and mental potential. Her love for living beings makes her very open-minded and empathetic.
Paula is originally from France; she grew up in a small city surrounded by concrete and far from the wilderness. After obtaining her Bachelor’s in Communication, she decided to take a break and explore Australia. There, she discovered not only a new world but also herself. She held various positions: waitress, cook, receptionist, housekeeper, labourer… Paula fell in love with the new discoveries, the fauna and flora, the diversity of cultures and people.
However, Paula couldn’t stop there and kept moving. After 4 years of travelling and working around Australia and Europe, she finally arrived on the east side of Canada, where she became the Communication Director of a luxury concierge company. After a year, she decided to take a vacation and travelled across Canada in an old school bus. During this road trip, she realized that working in Communications wasn’t for her, after which she resigned and left Quebec.
Paula decided to open a new chapter in her life, and Vancouver Island has become her home. After managing a bakery for 2 years, she decided that it was time to work toward her dream: helping people become aware of the curative power of nature and the one that resides within themselves. Paula is eager to dive into the complexity and the magic of a human being, both scientifically and spiritually. Fresh Start is an opportunity for her to observe guests as they undergo a transformative and healing process. She is excited to assist them on their journey to improving their health and lives. Alongside the Fresh Start, Paula is currently enrolled in a Naturopathy program at the Alternative Medicine College of Canada.
When Paula is not working with us or studying plants and anatomy, she practices yoga, draws, dances, and of course, continues to explore.
