Who Am I?

Tina emanates love, compassion, and light. She believes we all have the capacity in us to be bringers of light.

Tina grew up in the little town of Ladner, BC. From an early age, she was inspired by her mom’s daily home-cooked meals and her Nana’s baking. Nutritious wholesome food has always been part of her family and a means for connection.

Every night, mom used to light candles, and the entire family got together around the table. Tina is very close to her family and, together with her husband, continues the tradition of preparing with love and sharing a meal every night, in the candlelight, without electricity and gadgetry.

Tina has been a vegetarian for over 10 years and has volunteered for various animal and environmental organizations. Her love for Earth’s species and nature is infectious.

Tina has enjoyed many years of baking for a living as well as at home. As much as she loved delighting customers and family with her baking, she always felt eating sweets was momentary happiness and wanted to instead make a difference through nutritious foods. That is when she decided to study herbalism and nutrition. After finishing her diploma she plans on enrolling in the Master Herbalist Program. One of her many favorite sayings is “Chew your Liquids, Drink your Foods”. She believes we should all eat as many colorful whole foods, be present, and surround ourselves with loving company.

Tina loves to go camping and traveled to many parts of the world. In 2010 Tina and James (her high school sweetheart) moved to Campbell River with their precious cat Mewsic. It is here on beautiful Vancouver Island where Tina’s passions started to flourish. She started her own veggie and wildflower garden, experiments with painting, yoga, and meditation practices, and went on caving adventures.

Anything fitness is Tina Knowles: hikes, the gym, swimming, cycling. Tina and her husband have gone on many adventures and road trips, as well as have attended spiritual, paranormal, and UFO festivals. They both have had many experiences with unexplained phenomena and have many stories to share.
