Health Program Consultant for Health Retreat and Spa
Position Description F/T (120-160 hrs.)
Must Haves
Great listener, people’s person and a relationship builder
Expertise in disease symptoms, anatomy & physiology, nutrition and natural health
Note: You will be speaking with prospects suffering from cancer, diabetes, fibromyalgia, depression, digestive disorders, obesity and other health related conditions.
Extensive experience in consultative selling, inbound and outbound cold calling & sales scripts development
Support vegan/vegetarian lifestyle
Very thorough and detailed oriented personality
Non-smoker
Enjoys working with complex new Software programs, with minimal training
Is willing to take calls after hours or on weekends in the first 6-12 months of work
Considered an asset:
Experience with CRMs (ACT, Salesforce, NetSuite, Zoho or other CRMs).
Caution:This position is very challenging and requires a lot of creativity to understand needs of each “Lead.” If you are not good listener, have not had experience in consultative selling or cold calling, are a worrier, take everything very personally, and do not particularly enjoy helping people naturally improve their health, while working with people over the phone, please do not apply: you won’t survive at this position longer than 3 months, no matter how high your expertise might be! In fact, for this position personal qualities are sometimes even more important, than credentials!!!

Terms of Employment:
Wages:
Training and Probation: $18/h
Note: Raise depends on the experience and performance.
Working hours are as follows:
Mon-Fri: 9:00 - 5:00 PM (7 hr day)
Weekends: if had inquiries and followed up with leads, logged hours are subtracted from “weekly 40/h.”
Approximate hours:120-160 hrs. p/month
Note: some evenings you may stay longer to follow up with leads, if that’s the only time they have.
Holidays:
Statutory holidays as per company guidelines
Training
Initial training includes 3 months of hands-on and self-training:
1. Initial Basic Training: training of key procedures and workflows, service knowledge, assistance to Senior Program Consultant
2. Affiliate Program Promotion Training
3. Program Consultancy Training
4. On demand, hands on learning: Over 3 months we will be training you in various parts of the job, as the need/application arises. After 3 months, one must be proficient in: all company services and products, rates, dates, NetSuite CRM (Sales & Reservations), PAP (Post Affiliate Pro), sales and affiliate documentation, workflows, e-mail templates, sales & affiliate procedures and policies, lead workflow data management.
5. Ongoing self-training and development of “personal self-esteem, sales skills” and “disease symptoms.”
Note: The training includes learning the materials of Fresh Start Health Retreat Centers Ltd. (recorded calls and workflows), and the sales/affiliate key procedures. It is done in the form of hands on training, instructor lead training, listening to audio recordings, watching health videos, reading health books, transcription of procedures, program documentation, and observing the process.
Professional Development:
Program Consultant will be responsible to read one book or listen to an audio seminar per month in his/her free time in the areas of sales, personal development, health, sales process automation. Report must be submitted twice a month to the Manager. It is critical responsibility for one’s success in the position.
Fresh Start has a large library of Audio Materials. Enough for 5 years of one’s learning. It is available Free of Charge to our team.

Primary Responsibilities:
Program Consultant is the main person working with the Leads, Prospects & Clients of Fresh Start. At times there are days where there is very little to do on following up with New Leads or Current Prospects. During his/her free time, he/she will be responsible to promote FS Affiliate Program, until his/her pipeline become regularly full with Leads.
Core responsibility of Program Consultant is to “close sales” and bring in the revenue. It will require high level of professionalism of how to manage one’s daily duties between leads & affiliates.
Program Consultant will be involved in the following activities:
Program Consultant Daily Duties:
- Follow up with leads, prospects, clients
- Free Consultation, Pre-Registration Inquires: Make initial call, send e-mails, manage Lead Record status in CRM, conduct a Health Consultation, pre-screen the lead, answer questions about the program, generate an estimate, close the sale, walk through cancellation policy, accept the payment (credit card), send & explain Post Registration documentation.
- Systematically follow up with leadsand manage the relationship using various media channels (e-mail, card, letter, phone). Note: We use “7” calls/e-mails/cards strategy before we consider lead “dead.”
- Manage guests’ ledger: merge lead records, record airport picks, allergies, book rooms with Ocean Resort, share information with needed departments.
- Brochure Requests:send out mail out packs, manage Lead record in CRM.
- Phone & E-mail Inquiries: Accept calls, reply e-mail messages, create new Lead Record, take notes, answer questions, schedule follow up appointments.
- Phone lines: Regularly check business and 888 lines for messages. Take and pass the messages over Skype. Check messages 1st thing in the morning and before leaving the office.
- Clients: Request guest’s testimonial for current clients, ask for referrals, send cards.
- Airport Pick up: on as needed basis (not primary responsibility).
- Call the lead and send the Follow up e-mail after reviewing the Inquiry notes.
- Weekend: Follow up with new inquires and schedule appointment for next week.
Affiliate Partners Program Daily Duties:
- Find qualified Health Practitioners, Cold call, Setup an appointment, Present Partner Program, Follow up, Sign up, Manage Relationship,
· Ask guests for referral to 3 health practitioners or follow up on provided by FS list of practitioners
· Follow up with practitioners & introduce them to FS, as if he/she would be willing to become our affiliate partner, briefly explain the program, e-mail the information or sign up over the phone, or follow up in a few days to make sure the practitioner signed up.
· Mail Partner Setup Pack
· Manage relationship with Health Practitioners, submit requests to send payments to A/P, manage affiliate commissions.
· Mail refill packs, call/e-mail practitioners to see how they are doing
· E-mail specials to practitioners (on as needed basis)
· Find creative ways how to manage relationship with Affiliate Partners
· Send thank you cards for referrals
Specific Tasks:
- Create, test and measure sales & affiliate program scripts for various inquiry types
- Manage 888 phone number or PBX sales/promotional messages
- Manage, update (create when needed) sales/affiliate partner documentation in NetSuite and on Company Server
- Manage re-ordering of Mail Out Packs, Rack Cards and other needed collateral (Manger Approval)
- Occasionally update web pages (text, dates, rates) (Manager Approval)
- Listen to 1 sales/health related topic CD or read 1 book a month in the consultant’s free time to keep a constant professional growth
- Attend staff meeting once every 3 month to share our successes and deal with any issues, and enjoy together a nice raw snack or dessert
Special Projects:
In between high flow cycles, program consultant may assist in development of Sales Workflow Automation, e-mail, letter scripts development, or help with other tasks at the health retreat & spa, as needed (as per Manager’s discretion and project terms).
Performance Measures:
Note: For quality control and training purposes calls will be randomly recorded and reviewed.
1. Ability to close leads and meet monthly quota.
2. Systematically follow up with leads, innovate new cost efficient ways to “mange relationship” with leads & existing clients.
3. Regularly ask for referrals, send out thank you cards after referral is closed.
4. Guest satisfaction expressed in feed-back forms and to the management directly of your tact, care, professionalism, punctuality and relationship management.
5. Follow up activities/ tasks finished on time (up to 50 per day)
6. Team satisfaction: helping other team members, good working relationship with Program Manager/Owners.
7. Affiliate Partners satisfaction: timely management of payments (until the task will be outsourced to another team member). Attitude: I do not go to a job to simply get a paycheck. In fact, it is not a job for me at all: I am living my passion and in addition I am paid for it.
Reporting:
Because Program Consultant position is a position of high responsibility and involves a lot of interaction with prospects and practitioners, good communication systems are very important. Therefore we have systematic reporting system in place,
These are the form(s) that the Program Consultant will be required to fill out and send to Manager Regularly:
- Daily report to manager on sales progress, forecast, suggestions, progress with affiliate partners.
Note: Most of the report forms above are still in the development stage, but we plan to implement them within 3 months of new hire. Also note that the tasks and duties of Program Consultant can be revised and changed.
