Georgina’s Journey

Georgina loves being near the ocean, the forests and the mountains and this is what brought her to British Columbia from Ontario in 1992. Her grown children followed the year after. It turned out to be a wonderful experience!

Georgina received her training as a certified colon hydro therapist at the Natural Health Outreach Centre in Penticton, BC in March of 2000. In 2000-2001 she was working with the Eco-Med Spa in Nanoose Bay, owned and operated by Dr. Stephen Kuprowski.  There she met many wonderful people from all walks of life, and she felt like she made a difference in their health.  In 2001 Georgina started her own colonic clinic.

Georgina loves cycling, walking, yoga, garden and reading. Her children and grandchildren are also very important to her, and she spends much quality time with them in many activities. Georgina has been growing her own food since her children were small. For many years she lived on acreage, where she spent hours growing and harvesting much of her daily meals. It was a true joy!

Georgina volunteers with the weekly ‘Community Meals Program’ in Qualicum Beach, as well as with the ‘friendly visiting program’ for seniors.

She also enjoys listening to motivational speakers, especially on the subject of nutrition. Her favorites are Sam Graci, and Victoria and Valya Boutenko. Georgina has taken part in a workshop on raw food preparation with certified raw food chef Christine Morrow, as well as in a workshop on using fresh herbs in daily meals.

Her deep compassion and love of helping people with their health issues enriches our team and guests alike.
